RN Manager of Emergency Services and Stroke Coordination

About the ER
Responsibilities:
you will be responsible for 23 FTEs
here you will have 3 coordinators - coordinators are permanent charge RN's who take a full patient assignment and work day shift 12 hours.
this ER has about 25,500 visits annually
about 15-20% of the role involves budget responsibilities
Our ideal qualified candidate should also have the following:
MSN or in the midst of acquiring
5 years of Emergency Department nursing experience and education
we will also consider someone with a critical care background. If you are working as a ICU Manager we want to speak with you.
A plus if you are a Certified Neuroscience RN but not required
Some knowledge of the Medicare reimbursement system is a plus
You will report to the CNO
keep the Medical Director of the unit informed of the activities of the nursing service and of any problems relating to the care of the patients.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
