POSITION SCOPE
The IT Operations - Project Coordinator is responsible for the administration of projects, assisting in the update of project plans, following up on project tasks with resources, and processing equipment & professional services relating to projects within IT Operations. The Project Coordinator shall assist in the tracking of deliverables, milestones, analyze actual & budgeted expenses, analyze project data, follow-up on risk remediation, and record & prepare meeting minutes. The position will follow-up with resources, compiles project updates, confirm adherence to quality standards, report on issues, process change control, provide customer support, and comply with all policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform requirements gathering tasks through interviews and discussions with stakeholders
Participate in the planning and deployment of Information Technology projects
Process procurement for Information Technology equipment & services for new & existing facilities
Record and communicate project status updates
Interact with team members to facilitate successful completion of deployments
Maintain project documentation
Bring to attention of management issues which may hinder project success
Other duties as assigned or needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Bachelor's degree desired
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Visio and Project would be a plus)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Understanding of project management methodologies
Ability to work within a group/team environment
Proactive approach on the job
Strong desire to learn and succeed
Solid organization skills
Must possess self-discipline and self-motivationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
