EHS/ISO Temporary Position
Outstanding opportunity for a Junior EHS Safety Specialist with a Fortune 500 Manufacturing Company in Melrose Park
Hours: 8-5pm
Requires passing a drug and background check
Assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of Health and Safety methods, policies, procedures and programs.
Develop training and presentations on a variety of topics.
Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation to prevent incident re-occurrence.
Anticipate, evaluate, and develop risk-minimization solutions for hazardous conditions and practices.
Requirements & Qualifications
1 Year experience with OSHA regulations & record keeping as well as Worker?s Compensation
Ability to excel in a self-directed environment
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Strong computer literacy and application capability including proficiency in MS Office suite
EHS or Safety related degree
Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
