On a daily basis, this individual will work with a multidisciplinary team of providers and clinicians to promote timely and adequate patient access to the OR's Master Daily Schedule while ensuring efficient, fair, and equitable utilization of key department resources (e.g. OR capacity, medical equipment, Anesthesia/Nursing personnel, etc.). Additionally, the Surgery Scheduling Coordinator will demonstrate LUMC's Magis Values and Service Excellence Standards, specifically through the cultivation of trustworthy relationships with Surgeon's and their supporting departments. Obtains necessary insurance authorization using knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding. Position Requirements: Minimum Education: Required: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education Preferred: Administrative or technical background acquired through completion of 2 - 3 years of college Minimum
